Corrections & Readers Accountability Policy
Last Updated: October 17, 2026
Readers 24 (www.readers24.com) is committed to complete factual accuracy, intellectual honesty, and total editorial transparency. When an error of fact, naming, date, calculation, or context occurs, our policy is to correct it promptly and visibly.
1. Types of Editorial Corrections
- Substantive Factual Corrections: If an article contains an error of fact, number, attribution, or substance, the text is updated immediately, and a formal Correction Note is appended to the article with a clear explanation of what was changed, why, and the exact timestamp.
- Clarifications: If an article is factually accurate but lacks necessary context or could lead to reader misinterpretation, we issue a Clarification note explaining the additional context.
- Retractions: In the rare event that an article fails our fundamental verification standards or cannot be corroborated upon secondary review, the editorial board will issue a full retraction notice detailing the findings.
2. How Readers Can Report an Error
We welcome and actively encourage reader vigilance. If you spot a factual inaccuracy, calculation error, or misattribution in any published story on Readers 24:
- Email our editorial verification desk directly at: contact@readers24.com.
- Please include the article headline or URL, the specific paragraph or sentence in question, and any verified primary documentation or sources supporting the correction.
3. Review and Resolution Timeframe
Every correction inquiry is logged and reviewed by an editor within 24 business hours. If a correction is verified, the article is updated and the change is recorded in our newsroom log.
